Sin embargo, para ello, es fundamental etiquetarlas correctamente en tu sitio web. Los atributos «alt» y «title» refuerzan el mensaje de tus artículos y facilitan la accesibilidad de tu web.
Seguramente conocerás «alt» y «title» como etiquetas. Sin embargo, técnicamente son atributos.
Por ejemplo, si usas una imagen como enlace a tu tienda, este atributo debe indicar por ejemplo «compra en nuestro eCommerce«.

Si no puedes cambiarlas, debes dejar un alt en blanco con esta expresión: <img src=»image.png» alt=»»>. De esta forma, los lectores de pantalla pasarán la imagen y no darán ningún tipo de señal a los lectores con discapacidad visual. En WordPress, simplemente, basta con dejar este campo en blanco.
Cuando preparas este tipo de textos no pienses únicamente en el keyword stuffing. Es importante que incluyas información que dé valor al lector. No te limites solo a poner palabras clave, porque pueden ser interpretadas como spam. Por ejemplo, si cuentas con una foto de un producto en concreto, incluye el nombre completo y el ID.
Si una imagen puede servir para facilitar la navegación del usuario a través de la web debes aprovecharlo. Rellena toda esta información en el alt y ayudarás a tus lectores a encontrar los productos que están buscando.
Además del texto, es importante que tomes en consideración la importancia del SEO de tus elementos gráficos. El nombre del archivo es otro punto que debe ser relevante para tu sitio. No basta con poner cualquier cosa, sino que debes incluir una palabra clave o un nombre descriptivo.
